Another year is behind us and now we need to focus on the future once again. In the next 350 days or so we are going to see some definite surprises. But perhaps we already know a thing or two about what we should expect.
Today we are going to delve a bit deeper into the trends that are bound to come to the car world with 2019. Of course, take this with a grain of salt, as in the corporate world nothing is certain. Nonetheless, as one of the reputable auto transport companies, we from InstaCar Transport will continue to bring you interesting details from the industry. Shall we start?
The Big Cars Are Not Going Away
Some might say that this is hardly news at all. But it actually is. If you’ve been following the industry, you know that there is some serious work put into making cars at least a bit lighter and a tad smaller. However, people are latching onto the big trucks like the world is going to end and they can serve as a shelter.
Is that bad though? Depends on who you ask. But for sure, they are not great on the environment, costing more to make, maintain and fuel altogether.
At Least They Will Be Going Electric
The good part about the big cars is that more and more companies are involved in marketing big EVs. We think that 2019 is going to be the year when “ESUV” will become a staple term. That being said, bigger cars do need bigger batteries and with the cost of EVs currently, the deals may not be that great in the beginning. So we are still hopeful, but reasonable nevertheless.
The Used Market Is On The Rise
People are now reconsidering the idea of buying a new car and many of them are instead opting for used models of the previous generation. You can snatch a great vehicle at a price that may be 50% of what you’d give otherwise. Sometimes the deals can go down to 70% of the initial price of the car!
Here at InstaCar Transport we have always supported buying used vehicles as it puts less strain on the environment, while also saving you money. Don’t forget that you can look for those deals all over the country and get the car shipped to you.
Even The Cheaper Cars Are Going To Get Smarter
The high-end technologies have previously been reserve to the, well, high-end vehicles. But in 2019 we will start seeing a trickling effect, where the higher grade tech will start piercing the low-end market as well. More and more people are going away from the highest trim, most expensive vehicles and that pushes companies to boost sales by offering more appealing deals on the low end.
That being said, we expect to see more of that in the years to come with new model generations. But even if 2019 is not the year of the technological breakthroughs it is still going to give you better options as a customer!
